Unfinished business with Ben Nevis, May 2014

Our first attempt in April of the previous year (Three Peaks) ended close to the summit in a white out, we hadn't followed the well trodden path which was difficult because of the conditions and had wandered close to the northern edge. For safety we descended with Skafell Pike and Snowdon to look forward to.

For this attempt of Ben Nevis we took the far more interesting and challenging Carn Mor Dearg Arete from the Tom na Buaile car park. We were blessed with outstanding weather and beautiful winter scenes.
