The Lake District, November 2013

This was a family trip when Evie was about 18 months old. We staying in Ambleside from where I walked the Fairfield Horseshoe ,straight from the beautiful little cottage we were staying in, early one morning and was home in time for lunch.

We took in a lower level walk which resulted in us getting totally lost and ended up twice the distance we had planned. Sometimes they are the best walks!

We found time for plenty of leisure too, this being on Lake Windermere.
